Arnold Allen vs Max Holloway: UFC Kansas City Main Event
Saturday 15th April 2023 – Kansas City, USA
Arnold Allen believes his versatility will help him through his fight with Max Holloway and ultimately lead to him becoming a UFC champion. Arnold ‘Almighty’ Allen, who is riding a 10-fight UFC win streak, is set for the toughest test of his career when he faces Max Holloway in Kansas City this Saturday. A win over the former featherweight champion should setup Allen with a shot against the winner of the unification fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Yair Rodriguez which is set to take place at UFC 290 on the 8th July 2023.
Former featherweight champion Holloway failed to regain the belt in his last fight, as he fell to 0-3 against the man who dethroned him, Alexander Volkanovski. The Hawaiian has been faultless against every other featherweight he has fought since 2013, including Jose Aldo (twice), Frankie Edgar, Brian Ortega, and current interim champion Yair Rodriguez. Should Arnold win, he will be the first fighter since 2013 Conor McGregor to beat Holloway in a non-title fight.
