Kimura Performance and Digital Pie Attend Salon Privé and Hampton Court Concours of Elegance
Kimura Performance attended the prestigious Salon Privé Concours in the grounds of The Duke of Marlborough’s stunning Blenheim Palace in late August.
Supporting Digital Pie client The JBS Collection who shipped their magnificent Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Springfield Pall Mall from it’s home at the Collections private museum in Indiana, USA.
The car, beautifully and painstakingly restored by US specialists Le Vine Restorations won the coveted Chairmans Award at the Concours.
mmediately following on from Salon Privé the team attended the equally prestigious Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court where Digital Pie were filming The JBS Collection other Concourse entry the sunning Amelia Earhart 1937 Cord 812 Phaeton Convertible . This car once owned by the intrepid aviator Amelia Earhart, was also restored back to its former glory by Le Vine Restorations in Indiana and after finding the original and matching Engine, Gearbox and Body from various Cords it was put back together and is now the most stunning historical car that travels the world to various Concours and Museums.
Digital Pie are recording and making a film which records the cars journey whilst in the UK, 3 days at Hampton Court and awarded Best in Class and now on display in the Rotunda at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall, London until the end of September.
The car will then go back to the USA where it will be on display in the Henry Ford Museum in Michigan.
